How to play
Move the ball sideways to choose your starting position. Hold the left mouse button, push upward and release, or swipe upward and lift on a phone. Your forward speed sets power. Open Play for solo, computer, local or private-room games; open Career to name your club and draft three teammates. Tap ? in the game for the complete guide.
Controls
- Position the ball
- Move the mouse sideways without holding a button. On a phone, drag sideways then lift. Tap the lane or use Left/Right arrows to reposition.
- Mouse delivery
- Hold left-click, push upward toward the pins, then release. A quicker stroke gives more power. A tap does not launch.
- Phone delivery
- Swipe upward on the lane and lift. Swipe speed controls power, the main direction controls aim, and a curved finish adds hook.
- Hook and gutters
- Finish your stroke with a small left or right curl. A straight diagonal stroke changes aim without adding hook. Wide shots can enter the gutter.
- Cancel a delivery
- Press Escape before releasing, or cancel the touch gesture. There is no power slider, Space launch, or click-to-bowl shortcut.
- Play
- Choose solo, a computer opponent, local multiplayer, or a private online room.
- Career: draft
- Choose three teammates. Fifteen other clubs take turns from the same pool. Fifteen NPC captains are assigned first, leaving seven free agents after all 16 rosters are full.
- Career: season
- Seven regular matches in your eight-team division. Top four advance to division semifinals and finals, then the two division winners meet. A team total is the sum of four individual games. Win = 2 points; tie = 1. Standings ties use pins, then club order. A tied playoff total advances the higher regular-season seed.
- Career: player form
- Each NPC gets an independent slight positive, neutral or negative form roll per game. Your own deliveries get no modifier. Qualifying is one legal simulated scorecard per NPC; a single result does not reveal their true ability.
- Career: match pace
- NPC turns resolve numerically by default. Enable Watch NPC deliveries in 3D before a match to see physical deliveries instead. Your own turns always use the lane.
- Career: progress
- The Gazette records actual results and individual scorecards. Recruit free agents between seasons. Win a circuit to earn its trophy and cosmetic ball, then advance to the next. Six circuits share the league format with distinct alleys, lane conditions and increasing NPC training.
- Scoring
- A strike adds your next two deliveries; a spare adds your next delivery. The tenth frame grants the required bonus deliveries. Maximum individual score: 300.
- Career: history
- Open the Trophy room for every season’s plaque, final placement, roster and recap. Numbered trophies beside team names identify the seasons they won. Titles stay with the club.
- Replay
- After a physical delivery, Replay last shot plays the recorded ball and pins without changing the score. Choose slow motion or normal speed. Unavailable in private online rooms.
- Sound / ?
- Toggle all sound, or open ? for the full guide and an alley ambience / crowd volume slider.
